The nicest part of the walk was when the path moves down next to the river just past past the Stokes Valley turn off.We walked as far as the the Silverstream bridge and intended to cross and walk back down the other side but there is no river access because of a golf course. So we walked back the same way except around Taita we moved onto this raised walkway which meant you could see the river on one side and houses on the other.
